When a young woman receives an unanticipated phone call, she embarks on a volatile journey with the man she passionately loves.Tormented by a conflicted state of mind, she must face the reality of their love, and make a decision that will impact the ongoing state of their union.

TRACES leads the audience through the dynamic relationship of a woman and her lover as they embark upon a physical and psychological journey. Whilst their passionate chemistry is palpable, tensions arise through a conflict of interest. When Eloise receives an unanticipated phone call, it propels her into motion. Expecting Freddie to accompany her, he begrudgingly agrees, but has a few ideas for some procrastination along the way. The two intimately navigate through London to a few familiar spots, but when Freddie leads them to an art gallery exhibiting Eloise’s photographs, things turn sour. Eloise’s struggle between her undeniable infatuation and irrevocable irritation for Freddie, forces her to confront her conflicted state of mind, and be honest not only with herself, but Freddie too.

Traces made its film festival debut at the 2022 Raindance Film Festival, and has since screened 10 film festivals internationally.
